Bring material into interview or edit CV (IT roles)

I work in IT, my CV is 2 pages and seems to get a good response rate. It's very straight forward, here's the gist of it

    Name
    Address
Work Experiences with main responibilities(5 different roles going back 14 years)
    Education
    Interests
    References

A lot of roles I apply for now would have project management involved so I'm wondering should I list any projects I've worked on. OR should I bring a list in to the interview with a few details on each one.

Id like to keep my CV short and too the point. I was thinking of minimising details for my older work experiences(even though they are IT related) and adding in the project experience from my more recent roles as they would be most relevant. Then if I do, how much detail should I put? Should I mention if I managed a vendor or if it was all hands on?

Any suggestions would be grateful thanks. IT

Short and to the point for cv's is a good idea for most roles but the kind you mention for PM roles should expand on projects that you have worked on.

If some of your recent work experience isn't relevant to the role you are applying for, you can keep the detail here to a minimum. Do you have a LinkedIn profile, it's a great place to have a lot of project details and you can add a link to your profile to your CV.

Happy to take a look at a couple of drafts if you want

Absolutely minimise the earlier jobs - I just list the job title, date and company for my first 3 jobs.

People may disagree, but I don't think a 2.5/3 page CV is the end of the world, especially if you think you're selling yourself short as it is. But start with concentrating on the most relevant experience and chopping down the older stuff.

For what it's worth, a friend of mine used to have a few examples of his work on an iPad which he sometimes demonstrated in an interview - seemed to work for him.
