Three-year Free Servicing

Apologies in advance if this is a really dumb question. I bought my car last year and included in the deal was three years free servicing.

What does this actually mean?

Obviously if I needed new brakes or something significant then that would cost. Is it just the labour then and I still pay for oil, additives etc.?

It really depends on what it says in the contract.

Three Year Free Service Terms and Conditions
The “Three Year Free Service Offer” applies only to Toyota passenger cars.
The “Three Year Free Service Offer” applies to all passenger vehicles ordered and registered from June 29th to July 31st 2016. All vehicles must be registered before July 31st 2016.
The customer’s entitlement to the free services ends three years after the date of purchase or after 45,000km’s*(c) of driving on the vehicle, whichever comes first.
The “Three Year Free Service Offer” ends once the car is sold by the original purchaser i.e. the offer is strictly non transferable.
The work performed in each Service is as detailed in the Service and Warranty Booklet supplied with every Toyota vehicle.
A 1yr/15,000km*(a) and 3yrs/45,000km*(c) Service are detailed as Intermediate Services, while a 2yr/30,000km*(b) Service is detailed as a Full Service. To avoid confusion all of these vehicle services do not include the replacement of parts such as tyres, clutch, brake pads or wiper blades.
The vehicle services are performed every year/15,000km’s*(a) as detailed in the Service and Warranty booklet, up to and including 45,000km’s*(c) within three years of purchase from a main Toyota Dealer.
The maximum number of free services which a customer can claim on any one vehicle is strictly limited to three.
In order to avail of a free service the customer must have the service performed within one month or 1,500km of the scheduled service date as detailed in the Service and Warranty Booklet.
Only the name of the person/company to whom the vehicle is first registered to is permitted to claim a free service.
On the date of purchase of the vehicle customers will be provided by the main Toyota Dealer with three vouchers.
These vouchers must be presented by the customer in claiming the free services. These vouchers can only be redeemed at main Toyota Dealers and participating Authorised Repairers in the Toyota Ireland Network. The vouchers are non transferable and hold no monetary value.
Toyota Ireland cannot be held liable for lost or stolen vouchers. Employees or agents of Toyota Ireland or any third party involved in this promotion are excluded from participation. All Toyota Dealers, participating Authorised Repairers and their employees are also excluded from this promotion.
Car hire companies and participating Authorised Repairers and Dealer registered vehicles are not eligible for this promotion.
Toyota Ireland reserves the right in their absolute discretion to disqualify any vehicle, to add to, or waive any rule without prior notice to the customers and, in the event of circumstances beyond their control, to cancel the promotion at any stage.
Participation in this offer is hereby deemed to indicate acceptance of the terms and conditions as outlined. Any breach of these terms and conditions, as decided exclusively by Toyota Ireland will result in automatic disqualification.
This voucher is issued by Toyota Ireland, only main Toyota Dealers and participating Authorised Repairers will accept this voucher on behalf of Toyota Ireland, the service will be supplied by Toyota Ireland to the customer and the performance of each service is subcontracted by Toyota Ireland to Authorised main Toyota Dealers and participating Authorised Repairers only.
The “Three Year Free Service Offer”and ''Trade In Trade Up Bonus'' offers are mutually exclusive.
