Taxing car commercially?

    Sorry to drag up an old thread but saves starting a new one.

    A 06 2L Hyundai Tucson - can I change this to commercial easily? Would be used for getting in and out of work. Saves a few quid on tax and the doe will have to be done every year (same as nct) so not much of a difference.


    Do back seats HAVE to be removed?

    So you wouldn't be using it for business purposes!!

    It would need to be converted. Weighed at a weigh bridge, CVRT'd every year

    I just know people who have vehicles that go through DOE and taxed commercially but they have 5 seats?

    you'd have to sign a declaration that you would only use it for commercial purposes.

    commercial tax has nothing to do with about how seats you have..
