Upgrade laptop hard disk to SSD and fresh install of Windows 10

    Hey all

    Looking to upgrade the harddisk in my Lenovo M30 to an SSD.

    Does anyone know if something like this is suitable:

    or if I need to get an specific adaptors?

    Storage capacity does not need to be huge.

    As regards the fresh install, is it just a mater of downloading the ISO onto a bootable flashdrive and installing windows. I believe the product key is store on the computer so I won't need to enter it?

    You can get SSDs with cloning kits, which means they will copy your existing set-up to the SSD via a cable, then you replace the HDD with the SSD and away you go - only faster. smile.png

    It'll save you having to reinstall. But if you wanna go that root, then away you go. I've not purchased Win10, so I wouldn't know where to get it ... legally. :rolleyes:
