Any reason why you can't just use a visa debit?

Tbh those prepay cards are awful expensive and only really had a point when people had no credit /debit card which everyone has nowadays

i'm old style and don't have a credit card. i try to limit my exposure to fraud. i dont mind paying an extra couple of euros for things as it wouldn't be much for what i buy

The answer depends on why you used 3v in the first place. Security concerns, no bank account, or some other reason?

3v was extremely easy to use . i just went to my local payzone retailer and topped up just what i needed to buy what i wanted and bough it that day. all top ups were available immediately and didn't have to wait on bank transfers

You still don't have to wait on bank transfers with visa debit or revolut

And you certainly don't pay €2.50 for the privilege of spending online either

You just need to ask for a 3money voucher & top up online. Find my card very convenient for buying online.

With a credit card the bank takes the hit fraud, not you

expensive i thought, so much to top up, especially if one has to top up in small amounts due to cash flow probs, then a little more when a purchase is made, mine was hacked twice, i got only paid back for one
