Black Double headboard

    Anybody know where I could get hold of a (simple) plain black wooden, not cloth or other material, headboard for a double bed. IKEA have what I want (style-wise) but they are part of a full bed frame. I need one that can be used with a divan (type) bed. Thanks w4m

    If it is plain black wood you are looking for I had a hell of a job trying to find it. Doesn't seem to be the in thing at the moment. Id keep an eye on adverts, because you might see something like that when people are doing clear outs. Any wood ones I've seen are in some shade of wood or white. Sorry I can't be of any more use :)

    Just to finish this thread. I eventually settled on a black upholstered one which I picked up in Homebase (Fonthill) on Saturday. I didn't want upholstered but Homebase were selling off furniture and I got two black King headboards for €27.70 each :D:D. They were originally €160 each. At less than €30 I am happy and she is happy! I also picked up a solid wood (6 foot) dining room table for €83.05 (worth multiples of this!!) which was the steal of the weekend. Happy days!
