TP-Link routers exposed to potential security flaw after domain registration lapses.
However, according to the domain whois records, it appears that someone at TP-Link forgot to renew the registration for tplinklogin.net towards the end of May this year.
So if someone malicious buys the domain, it'd seem anyone with an old device could then get "told" by the site that suddenly there is an update for their hardware that redirects searches to malware, etc?

AFAIK, the Eircom homeplugs are rebranded TP-Link homeplugs, although I'll see what they say.
