    Hi All,

I'm looking for some help/advice on HRV systems. This past Winter I had a pretty bad problem with mildew in my 3 storey townhouse and am looking into solutions. The best option I've come up with so far is to install a HRV system.

I don't know a whole lot about these systems so I would be delighted to hear anyone's advice or views, in particular:

    - Would you recommend HRV?
    - Will it solve my mildew issue?
    - How much should I expect to pay for the system+installation?
    - Best suppliers or contacts in the west.
    - Any alternatives.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi All,

I am installing a small MVHR system for a bedroom. I have two vent slates installed. I am just wondering on the recommended distances from each other and pollution sources. The vent slates are aprox 1.2 m apart and are on the roof above the exhaust from the combi boiler (which is on the wall under the gable) which is aprox 2.5 m away diagonally. I haven't hooked it up yet but do these distances seem ok for clearance? Thanks
