I often check done deal .
I am sick of the sellers wasting my time.

they want to sell their item
    but they wont
put a price on the add
    answer any messages asking questions
put proper info in the add , like the voltage on a power tool
wont put any pictures in the add
wont put their location in the add or profile. putting your county isn't enough

you would think that they don't want to sell

    Shakespeare wins that, hands down.

I think you're mistaking the spacebar for the full stop button.

Don't buy a pig in a poke and there's no need to tar all sellers with the one brush .

Move on and filter out the half-arsed adverts

    He beat the drum
    Just a cat for once
    The slow burn
    Then the blinding dark
    The drum beats alone...

    Now that's poetry!

obviously all sellers are not like this. but it is getting worse lately.

What I have found lately is that the price on advert does not matter , because the important thing is what you the buyer is willing to offer .

I understand that but if im looking at something and I know similar items are 200 . that's all im going to pay. if someone puts 300 on it then I know to avoid the add and the seller is unrealistic.
if the add is for 50 I will assume its stolen.

i am on the look out for several items. im in no rush or major need so i will wait for the right one to come up. knowing the price that the seller wants helps me weigh up the potential purchase.
i hate ringing up sellers just to ask the price or get just basic info.
they then expect you to buy it.

I put up tickets for a concert I couldn't attend recently. Concert was sold out so I was looking to just recoup my outlay, not profiteer in any way, but did say in the ad "no offers below asking please" (there were many tickets there being sold for above face value btw). Got hounded by people offering anywhere between 25-50% of face value.

I also gave full details of the seats, row number etc., and include a map of the seating plan for the venue in my ad.Again got texts asking me where were the seats.

    So it works both ways....

I found so much unrealistic pricing on Donedeal I rarely ever use it. Much prefer Adverts where at least through the comments you can get an idea of what they'll accept. No way am I ringing up someone to try haggle money off something before I even go out to see it. At least Adverts for all its faults has a good way of sussing out what something may go for rather than just what the seller would like to get for it in their wildest dreams.

I sold a car on donedeal a while ago. Was offered a dog in part payment for it by one guy

I ended up getting too many messages to respond to. I found a few words like "buddy" to be a useful filter.

    Buddy he said.
    I turned to the moon
    Go on, go on stone
Never was a man so tossed aside.
    Then a crash
    Then a field
    Then a cloud
    Then a stone.

    Go on
    Become your own demon
