Something looked very wrong with Fleming's horses a few months back there, we must not have seen an entry from the yard for the best part of 2 months. The fact they've all come back and are looking a bit laboured would suggest to me that they're just not fit, and that they haven't done any work in the 2 month absence. Might be worth taking a look at any horse he has out that has had a run under its belt this season....

Its a get rich scheme. Laying his horses is the the road to retirement. Hopeless trainer and an even worse owner and both have no idea what they are doing. Saying that there is a virus in the yard. The horse in the bumper last night had previously had a wind op but even allowing for that wouldn't explain the performance. Another dud bought by Barry!!

No there's a horse that has not achieved its full potential due to being place with lesser trainers. If Mullins had this horse he would do some serious damage with it. Reminds me of Limestone Lad who I am convinced would have been far more successful if trained by Martin Pipe.

Comparing Limestone Lad to The Tullow Tank is some slur on Limestone. He was some animal on his day which was most days, except for cheltenham where he didn't get the best of rides in the world hurdle one year. His form was a sea of 1111's as far as i can remember. Tullow tank hasnt in reality done a lot in comparison.

the Bowes did absolutely nothing wrong with Limestone Lad, kept him sound as well, something Pipe wouldn't have achieved

The Tullow Tank is a hype horse, hard to believe he started favourite over Vautour in a novice hurdle

the only thing he'll win now is a hunters chase a few years down the road once his current trainer runs him off an injury with his stable mates performing like they have three legs

Go back to bed FFS. You are an extremely naive person if you dont think all the tops boys are at the same thing. In fact i know at least three that are. Its rife in the sport and feel very sorry for Fenton that he was made an example off. They wouldnt do it to the big boys on who they do have proof!!

Where did I say the top boys weren't at it?? I said The Tullow Tank isn't the same horse since he hasn't be on the good stuff. As for Fenton being made an example of, he got everything he deserved.

I never compared them in that way. Clearly Limestone Lad was miles better, I just always thought that a more established trainer would have gotten more out of Limestone Lad.
