Partner and Oral Sex

    Sorry if this is not appropriate but I don't really know where else to ask this.

    I am not that experienced with sexual interactions with other guys, but I've started seeing this guy lately and his behaviour puzzles me.

    Any time we jump into bed together he always wants to give oral sex. Normally I wouldn't think this is a problem but he seems to focus on this a lot, and he's not that great at it, although that may be my problem because I rarely get off on oral sex!

    I have tried returning the favour and he quickly turns it around so that he is doing all the work. I've also tried some other kinds of foreplay but it doesn't seem to interest him.

    I'm not keen on giving oral sex personally, but I'd like to be able to pleasure my partner if I can! I know I could ask him, but he might be trying to be nice and saying that he wants to do it.

    Is this normal? Do some guys enjoy giving oral sex that much?

    Communication is key to good sex. You need to say if it is not something you are comfortable with, try to suggest other activities and see what else you both enjoy. Don't be afraid to sound out your feelings! I guess some guys do enjoy oral sex, but I find there's nothing worse than someone who likes to do it all the time and is not great at it, i.e you are sitting there nervous and not really enjoying yourself!
