    Can somebody hep me, I was just talking last night and I think I might have a case. We work Sunday night - Thursday night. 40 hours wit 20% night shift allowance. Anything over 40 hours is over time at 1.5x for the first 4 hours then 2x after that. I've noticed anytime I do overtime, (which would be a Friday night) I don't get my shift allowance. Should I bring this up with HR as I'm still doin the same hours so I think I am entitled to shift allowance on my over time

    You can check with your employer, I doubt there is anything legal to enforce it tbh

    in alot of contacts they cancel each other out,

    ie you cant get paid both overtime and unsociable hours allowance.

    check your contact but no nothing illegal there.
