    Hi Guys,

I replaced the power selector switch P15211000 after reading it somewhere. Whats happening now is its running really hot and I have to have it turned down the hole way to make it bearable to stand under it. I have noticed too it will not actually turn the full way back down to 1 but somewhere around 2.

Any ideas what might be the problem.

    Esto

I too read somewhere that the reason may be that you have to clean/replace the filter.

Found this thread if it helps!?

It definitely wasn't the power selection switch.

Remember that the shower always uses 8.5kw all year round. The temperature of the water in the attic changes a lot throughout the year.
In winter you have to reduce the pressure on the shower because the water in the attic is so cold.
In summer you have to increase the pressure. In the summer if the water is still too hot you need to change the power selector from 2 elements to 1 element & possibly reduce the flow.
You also need a clean triton shower head (not a spurious one) & clean filter.
If you are still having problems after that I'd be betting you are in a high limescale area & it's possible the element /heating can is caked with limescale. The only solution for this is replace the element or shower. If your t90xr is close to 10 years old I'd replace. Woodies are selling off triton t90z for 199. This is a bargain but personally I'd buy the triton t90sr. This is irelands first silent shower.

Edit : turn the power to the shower off, remove the cover, turn flow dial all the way to cold on the shower & the cover, refit the cover. This is why the temperature only goes to 2. The dials are aligned properly.
