Employer's PAYE Registered Number for Form 12A?

    So I'm filling out 12A at the moment. My new employer gave me a sheet with basic information for registering with revenue for tax, which included a "registration number", which contains seven numbers and one letter at the end.

    Is this "registration number" my employer's PAYE registered number, or something else? Are employer's PAYE registered numbers usually seven numbers and one letter - eight characters - long?

    No, it's the company PAYE number they want. The registration number is something different, it's for the company registration office. Give the Payroll department a shout.
