Applying wax on sealant

Quick question lads. Had the car polished a few weeks ago at spirit detailing to remove swirls from previous wash bandits. Great job was done. Haven't washed the car since (shameful I know right :o). So I'm not sure what type of sealant was put on the car after the polish but it's lasting well. Is it ok for me to apply wax over the sealant on the next wash or should i leave it until its not beading anymore?

AFAIK Brian is still using Polish Angel products.

You could apply a wax over it - no real issue there. But then the wax is the top layer, and the one that will react with the environment or the conditions its subjected to. Thus the beading may change, the easy of washing / maintenance, etc. If it were me, Id leave it be, and get some life out of it and when it starts to show signs of deterioration, then apply something on it. Unless you feel its lacking a bit of va va voom...as some sealants can look at little glassy and waxes give a nicer wet look - if its that you are after, then by all means! ;)

Thanks Curran. I haven't washed it since it was done but it did lack that wet look you get from wax. But the improvement in the paintwork is unreal. I'll wait till it starts to wear off before applying wax.
