    just FYI anyone who uses 3v vouchers, they are no longer for sale in Ireland. Any balances are still OK for now, but if I were you, get the money out of their hands ASAP.

    UK vouchers won't work and will trigger an unwelcome ID check, which I just found out to my dismay.

    Well that is upsetting. I used them often.

    Why do people not check facts before publishing wrong information online and then add some line to suggest some financial issue and thus defaming a company?

    3v have simply stopped issuing pre-paid Cards as they were bought out a few months ago by SafeCharge - Dublin based and lised on London Stock Exchange.

    Not sure if 3v ever offered the cards here. A new card called Pay.com will launch soon.

    3v vouchers are still issued and will continue to issue.

    Hi VincePP - do you work for any of the companies involved? You seem to have inside information not shared with the staff of 3V Transaction Services Ltd.

    Why do people not check facts indeed. :rolleyes:

    Oh yeah, everyone that answers a question that disagrees with someone must work for that company.

    <SNIP as abusive>

    It took 30 seconds on Google to get the info I posted.

    Vinny, I'm going to make allowances for you since you seem a bit slow on the uptake - did you not see the email I posted that came directly from 3V the company? Is that not proof enough for you that they are no longer selling the things?

    What a bizarre thing to get wound up about! No need for the personal abuse, petal. It really weakens any point you're trying to make.;)

    So is the company winding down ? Not really surprised tbh as I don't think these vouchers have been advertised in about 10 years.

    Possibly because there is no information online except here and there like boards.ie, and the 3V.ie website is now a parked domain. I used to use 3V quite a lot, but I only discovered this week that they have vanished. I heard nothing from them even though they had my home address and my email address. If a company treats its customers like crap, they should not be surprised if the customers bad-mouth them. This is the "accepted punishment for laziness, carelessness, lack of grace, the failure to heed the demands of an intricate protocol" (William Gibson, Neuromancer).
    3v have simply stopped issuing pre-paid Cards as they were bought out a few months ago by SafeCharge - Dublin based and listed on London Stock Exchange.
    That has something to recommend it? Being listed on the LSE means nothing these days.

    Where can I get them and do they still work? I don't have a lot of faith in a company that vanishes from sight.
