How many wraps do people put on.

We'd have always done 4 but this year I asked for 6 so extra bales would keep better.

Only then contractor said that its 6 that's recommended on the box and he puts 6 on all his own stuff and it keeps far better.

Be interesting to see how it keeps.

I always put on 4 layers but put on 6 this year as well, there was a lot of waste last year, this year I got it spread out when moving and gave it one turn with the haybob and rowed it up 24 hours later, would have liked it to have been lying for 48 hours but there was rain forecast, there should be more in the bale as well so interested to see how it turns out.

What is the quality of the wrap like in the North, can anybody recommend a good brand, would be interested to try it if putting on six layers again

How many bales do you get covered with a roll? 25 here.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
