May be cheaper for you to go to Wales for a week. Or try getting a cancellation on a foreign holiday. Don't get me wrong, I love Ireland and there's some beautiful spots, but if you don't have a lot of money it can be very difficult. Most expensive holiday we had when the children were younger was a week in Donegal :(

    Hi JellyBen,

Hotel Kilkenny have a leisure club for Mum & Dad, & a great kids club too to keep your little girl entertained. Just checked 5 days / 4 nights from July 24th to 28th and it's €488.

The money isn't the problem, nobody driving is.

You can rent decent holiday homes nearly anywhere at OK prices and have fun in Ireland but you're limited to what towns have to offer if you don't drive.

Ireland isn't the best place to be going if you don't drive and don't have much money. Try a cheap sun holiday to The Algarve maybe. Cheap food and drink there.
