    Hi,
I have a 98 Skoda hatchback which has rust running along the bottom of the tailgate.
I left it too long to fix and it has gone right through, so cant be repaired

Any suggestion on what i can use to cover the rust to at least slow the process before it starts falling off?

I dont mind if it looks a bit ugly afterwards.
    Thanks in advance

Paint it as much as you can with rust converter, loctite, kurust or similar, turns rust black then cover with ducktape outside and spray copper grease into the cavity that should stoo the rust for a good while..

+1 for Krust, will clear all the rust, you just need then to coat it with fresh primer and paint.
