    They need a timing belt every 5 years or 80kkm, you'd want to be sure it was done, clutches aren't particularly strong on them so make sure it isn't slipping.
    Good car though, and it would be nice to have stuff like ABS.
    I think for a young lad, a 3 door would be nicer, but condition and stuff like that is probably more important.

    Not saying the Getz is a bad car, but imo the mk1 Yaris is probably a better car. The Getz is fairly robust reliability wise but it does feel fairly flimsy in terms of fit and finish.

    It's my boss that looking to buy it. The Yaris is mine, until me or the Yaris dies off.. :D
