Best ways to make friends after moving to a new city

I'm working in Dublin over the summer and I'm walking distance from plenty of nightclubs in the city but have nobody to go out with.
I don't really have time or the interest to join any kind of club. I go to the gym and also go for a run before or after work which takes up my freetime.

I don't have an issue with going out by myself and socializing with strangers but it's just a lot more reassuring to have at least one person with me so I don't end up standing in the corner

Anyone here into gym, raves, techno parties? feel free to pm me

Are you aware that everyone on the internet can see your previous posts here? including the one about "Me and my gf are going and thought it would be good to have sex while on mdma before we have to get back on the bus to go home"

Good luck finding friends buddy. :)

Walk around the area naked and frantically screaming about the devil. In time enough people will take pity on you and be your mate.

In case you don't know, the "who's that?" of the Dublin social world will be at the after hours beers event Friday week.

How about work friends? Most of my lifelong friends that I do everything with are people I met at work.

I can only imagine work being dreadful if I followed that mantra.

I go out with friends from work on a Friday night and get absolutely slaughtered. We proceed to slag each other then on Monday.

    Makes me enjoy work.
