I know this isn't the travel forum but i presume its a better place to ask. Has anybody been to Dover and Calais recently? If you have what was the traffic like, delays and that sort of stuff. I am driving to Slovakia and prefer to land bridge on the way over and to overnight from France on the way back. Just remember all…

I am driving to Slovakia and prefer to land bridge on the way over and to overnight from France on the way back.

Just remember all the stuff in the news about huge tailbacks and delays due to issues in calais.
Is that stuff going on and is it mainly affecting the haulage side of it?

Would i be safe to book dover calais and have no issues.

Will be booking today so any advice is appreciated.
