    I am Jesus, but I am a forgiving Jesus. I don't ban willy nilly and I come back less than 8 hours later rather than 3 days, but my mouth currently feels like I fasted for 40 days and 40 nights in the desert.

    It should be on by default.

    If it isn't on, click on 'Edit Options' on the panel on the left in User Control Panel. There should be an option to enable private messages there.
