Apart from the financial constraints what would be the biggest challenge in creating a Greenway between McDonnagh Junction and the Castlecomer Discovery Park .Great work been carried out in Waterford on the Deise Greenway

Not sure what the attraction is tbh? What's unique about the route and where would u put it? The nore river trail is a far more attractive offer and already has the infrastructure. Completing the route to innistiogue is a far better idea Imo.

Sorry I make that clearer, I was thinking of the old rail line to Castlecomer.

You'd have to start outside of town, St. Mall's and Kilsheelan Heights are in the way now, back of the Comer Road was bought by the residents back in the 70's, I'd imagine most of it was bought back then.

OK..I get you now. Still not sure if it's worth the investment tbh. I still think the Nore is a great resource which is under utilised. The discovery Park is a brilliant place though. I did the new zip line a few weeks ago. Great fun and well worth it.
