New laptop for Hdip in comp science?

    Hey all, as the the thread suggests starting a new college course in September and have decided to get a new laptop. I purchased my current laptop 6 years ago and its served me well over college, it was a basic compaq presario and I found the celeron to be dreadfully slow at times.

    Was wondering is this hp pavilion gaming laptop any good? I can't post a link as I am a new user.
