Fine_Sayo.pngGuess who's back?

I'm revived!

So: chosen few might've been contacted by me about 2 months ago. If they still recall I was claiming my desire to return to boards.ie "Anime & Manga" section. Finally: it's coming true. And I'm sorry for delay.
Who am I?

Well, that's a legit question if I've ever seen one. Here on boards only about handful of veterans might still recall me as I've disappeared years ago. Still basically I had second most viewed thread in the whole A&M section which even after years of inactivity did not get decrowned from it's silver seat and at it's prime was darn close to beating "What anime are you watching or manga are you reading?" topic.

Basically I was and I still am a Manga and anime enthusiast. What did change is probably the fact that nowadays I'm also semi-pro character designer/illustrator (yep, people pay me for drawing). Yet it is still a hobby as much as moderating certain art-related forums. Still I must say thanks to pro-colleagues who encouraged me with words:

"Start charging for your service or I'll find you and charge into your room!" or "If You still don't take yourself for a legitimate artist I'll start having complexes" or "If you want people take you seriously, then don't be afraid to consider your skill as valuable. Try taking small payments"

All this led me towards advancing into semi-pro realm 2 years ago... nowadays same friends complain that I charge too little :'P
Cheap.png

Why did I disappear?

Multitude reasons piled up over the years. Main of which (according to friends) was my past 'low tolerance for flame injuries' and need for higher education. Yup, pursuing my dream of becoming game developer I've decided on and succeeded in getting Master degree in Information Technology. Thanks to that I'm currently working as Intern QA Engineer in certain company.
Things been CRAZY man!!! I tell Yaa...
fine_marina.png

What is this topic for?

Basically? It's my additional contact relay. I like to talk to people and I like to meet new people. Most of all I probably like to have some new audience since despite 200+ followers on Devart, 120+ followers on pixiv and 360+ followers on Memecenter - I still get that weird feeling that things could be more lively!

I'm currently working on at least 3 interesting art related projects 2 of which are 'theme artbook' projects for Masamune Shirow's "Ghost in the Shell" universe and "Forgotten Realms" universe respectively (so Cyberpunk and Fantasy are on!). Third project is biggest and most intriguing time-sinker however.

Basically I'm trying to make an Indie Visual Novel game and greenlight it on steam. Project is still fresh and I constantly lack time for it ^^;. For this project there will also be an artbook! Regarding a whole setting of game world involved from vague things like: races, technology, religion, up to characters profiles! And believe me: I live to read and write a lot (if you didn't notice yet ^_^)

I also consider making "Memecenter themed" artbook about my friends and fans there. It would involve such things:
mc_commissions_and_arttrades_compilation_banner_by_dandare_rastaban-d90fcnd.jpg

So I would be talking about all those projects here from time to time.

BUT!

Feel free to ask anything Anime & Manga or games related. I would love to share some info or opinions with anyone interested in this topic as I would like to treat it as own corner (of course as always keeping in mind all conduct). I would also probably start some off-topic discussions here from time to time if (for example) I get influenced by some good new series or game?

I also take in commissions... well whenever I find time for it that is. It's not like I make a living out of them (YET!) and there is mostly few people in queue. On a good side: I am Cheap. I would literally draw your character for 3 cafe coffees worth (basically what I would drink while making it XD)
Wanna meet me? It ain't easy...
I'm a NINJA (。◕‿‿◕。) ~!

Hehe... no but seriously, it ain't. Besides being introvert and all that stuff - I'm fairly chaotic person. Alas I am somewhat based in Galway region, due to family circumstances I'm often found in few other countries (looong and boring story).

Years ago when my skill was even more dull and my ways more introvert: some of You might met me as one of frontline official artists of Zenpop group. Well I was attending Artist Alley of Nom-Con 1-2 back then. I also was on EACH EVER NOM-CON (*sniff* no Nom-Con 2016 T_T), alas as soon as Zenpop was no more - I also was denied to attend as artist.

This year I will be trying my hardest to finish least 2 artbooks and several other things till September to apply to equally awesome Irish Convention "Akumakon". So seriously: guys, wish me luck! If it goes well I'll be there as an Artist in 2017 Akumakon.

I'm also open for any other ideas as to where I should appear :3 !

If it's about a talk, I'm fairly active on my Memecenter and DevArt accounts:
Deviant Art <-moar descriptions. Moar single arts.
Memecenter <-there are some short comics and tutorial parodies XD

THAT'S ALL

roxanne_by_dandare_rastaban_d7ttc1g.png
For now...
CYAA!!!

PLEASE:
-If You like my sudden (re)appearance - leave a like/thanks (it's like a fuel for my motivation)
-If You wanna see/know more - check my sites with links provided! (I would be delighted to have a chat with Yaa !)

So: first of all thanks to Sieghardt for.. thanks :D. It's always nice to see someone enjoying effect of my hobby.

Also: 80+ views in 10 days? Not bad, basically similar ratio as in case of DevArt and already 20% of MC. It is a fine start if I may sate so :). Only thing I'm sad about is no appearance of 'old friends'. I know Irlandesaaa ain't around boards anymore but I hoped for Sephiroth_dude and cherryghost to come by ;P (prolly they are annoyed by my delay)

So should I present this week? Well maybe the progress on one of my more recent and ongoing projects. Basically I hope to finish it by September and present as one of propositions for Akumakon. If it works out a finished thing would be available on January (possible Akumakon date I assume).

GHOST IN THE SHELL - UNIT 6 FAN-ART-BOOK : "DUAL PHASE"

"Dual Phase" is my small-time Fanfic/Fanart project based on GitS setting but using original characters inspired in a good part by the ongoing game (mostly I've planned their respective skills to be somewhat: interesting if they were to appear in GitSSAC:FA). I decided to share a little bit of fanfic setting and the additional info on characters.

The timeline of "Dual Phase" is set on year 2036 (2 years after Solid State Society events). Leading to it are following events:

- During 2025 after World War IV crisis and "Laughing Man" incident the topic of 'Cyber Terrorism" becomes urgent issue for UN and separate European countries governments.
- In year 2027 a new UN initiative under codename D.P.S. (Defense Protocol System) gets officially approved. Based on similar successful projects including formation of Japanese "Section 9". The initiative is meant to create small Unit sections of Anti-terrorist squads specialized in fighting against cyber terrorism. Teams are meant to be elite selected and further trained by UN.
- In 2029 first three D.P.S. units are officially established in Germany, Poland and England. In following years they amass good number of achievements and earn trust for the project.
- In 2032 another two new Units are formed in France and Republic of South Africa respectively
- In 2036 after long period of negotiations formation of 6th D.P.S. Unit based in Japan gets approved by Japanese government. The operation receives codename "Dual Phase"

Now onto the particular characters of Unit 6:
Muramasa "Doujigiri" Koryou
7247874A0055B307A70E7F0E2937756F11E3C391
Koryou is meant to be field commander of Unit 6. Although she is in fact very young for someone of her rank, she is actually 22 during the 'Dual Phase' storyline. Her 'frame' appearance is solely based on her preferences as she's (much Alike to Major Motoko of Section 9) nearly fully a cyborg. In 2023 right before start of Second Korean War her family was visiting Siam Peninsula regions and their company helicopter fell a victim to one of few very first acts of terrorism which became excuse for the war. With both of her parents dead - Koryou became sole survivor of explosion and following crash, but since her body was beyond saving only her brain and majority of spinal cord was saved. Adopted soon after at age of 12 by one of her relatives Koryou decided to follow a military training and education. Helpfully her adoptive father was high rank officer of JSDF. Thanks to her talents she quickly became renown young officer and soon after got enlisted into D.P.S. initiative as Unit Field Commander for newly forming Japanese branch.

There is a dual reason for Koryou's rank in D.P.S.. One officially claimed is her outstanding education and military training records which in fact mention her as one of best current Japanese CQC specialists and instructor with expertise in 5 fighting styles including 8th Dan in Karate and Kendo. Other is the fact that she is a heir to distinguished family. Surprisingly her heritage "Muramasa Fine Arts" is an artisan family based company with a long history within Japan. It is however a very respected family based company with certain degree of political influence. Looking for a good foothold for new Japanese D.P.S. branch UN took it into consideration as the initiative would certainly require political back up from within the Japan.

Koryou's personality is somewhat tease in normal circumstances. She is very intelligent individual and seems to enjoy being sarcastic. During the operations however she often would become practically emotionless. It's her default trained mental state. Being faced with severe challenge however and especially left on her own she would actually start to 'enjoy' the situation, so it is not uncommon to see her grinning widely while faced with life or death situation or simply after finding a fine opponent. Although it is a slightly psychotic tendency, people knowing her refer to it simply as Koryou being 'in her groove' and advise to not get in her way if possible once it happens. Being born and raised in Japan she did learn about Section 9 activities and even some operation cases during her time with JSDF and in Military Academy. She became something alike to a 'fangirl' towards Major Motoko admiring her skills and achievements.

In Unit 6 she is a CQC specialist/instructor, trap-master and most of all field commanding officer.
Sukezane Noriko
4A1EFA5513A50F3F5144039DE26842F3D5446847

Being merely nineteen years old Noriko is both: youngest Unit 6 member and youngest individual enlisted into D.P.S. project. Circumstances for that are peculiar as she haves in fact criminal record since the age of twelve. Noriko is an orphan. Since birth she had severe genetic disorder causing an atrophy to parts of her spinal cord and subsequently her legs. Seeing it as opportunity for human implantation research Megatech decided to 'invest' in Noriko. By the age of 9 she already had a multiple experimental brain chips implanted into her along with an equally experimental at the time spinal cord stimulator. Surprisingly Noriko was doing fine with all that treatment and as a matter of fact she was even showing exponentially good skills at hacking and information gathering. At age of 12 Noriko went somewhat rogue. She breached Japanese government network defences and was able to access some of the top secret informations a government had to offer. Learning about hackers identity the government was amazed and decided to 'supervise' her. Especially since it was claimed by her in her testimony that her actions were just dictated by her 'having fun' doing such thing.

Up until age of fourteen Noriko was in fact unable to walk on her own as her legs did not develop pro
perly due to severe flaws in their nerve system. This lead to a surgery at which entirety of her legs was replaced with a cybernetic ones. Their quality was a state-of-art military grade at the time of operation and ever since in last five years they were heavily upgraded twice. She also learned very quickly as to how to use them as well as she took peculiar interest in athletic activities and martial arts. Surprisingly she proved to be able to score outstanding results in both of those matters

Noriko bears a happy-go-lucky personality which does not seem to fade in any kind of situation. It is not weird for her to 'crack a joke' in weird situations. Surprisingly enough Noriko does not seem overly intelligent (more like a ditz in fact) so it's anyone's guess as to how possibly her outstanding hacking skills work.

In Unit 6 she is mid-range combat and infiltration specialist. She is also 1st choice to send on 'Search and Destroy' missions due to uncanny intuition and unorthodox combat tactics.

Bonus Cameo characters:

These characters are not initially planned fanfic characters and were based (with permission of course) on existing people connected to GitS game. The arts surely would appear in the artbook but I do not deny the possibility of them even having a bios of their own by that time and become fully part of fanfic.
RAZIEL
Raziel.jpg
Based of the cheerful and energetic jokester of GitS game livestreams and actual technical support of those. Raziel is fun~. She does a lot of chat interaction but also earned an unofficial title of 'second hot chick' of Game Administrators (with 1st one being Lumos).

She was 1st one to agree for cameo GitS fanart. Her favourite weapon being HK MP7 tells a bit about personality as it is basically one of best 'silent' submachine-guns in existance. One does not sleep well if someone prefering this weapon is his enemy 8D
LUMOS
Lumos.jpg

Head community manager of the GitSSAC:FA and "unofficial 1st hot chick" of community.

Lumos is real fan of GitS and overall real nice person. Second one to agree to the artbook cameo. Her weapon of choice was Mateba M-M2007 - iconic 'old-school' revolver from GitS wielded by one of main characters of the series 'the family man' Togusa. I won't note all reasons I like this weapon as well, but let's say that if Dirty Harry does not seem the same without Magnum .44, then the same can be said about GitS and Mateba M-M2007.

Afterword:

The presented Linearts are only teaser for the artbook. I plan of course to colour all before September and that includes yet not presented Unit 6 members and 1 more Cameo character.

There will also be some Some 'item arts' with descriptions planned for Unit 6 weapons and gadgets. This would include dually wielded by Noriko "Seburo R-12 Dozer" which was originally designed by Landgravecustoms. I did get their permission to design my own specs for this weapon in accordance to my character. There will be also some classical epic Masamune Shirow designs included like favoured by Koryou "Seburo C-X" as well as my own series and game inspired designs. As to how it might look: one of earlier such examples (sorry, not exactly cyberpunk but... it's my best so far I guess ^^; ):

O~K...

I won't deny that it's starting to feel a bit desolate in here... geez. Now I do somewhat understand notion of Conventions cutting down their Forum sites one after another. Sign of time and gosh I am feeling old right now.

Still to keep things on the side other than that of daaaark side of necromancy let's talk about something interesting (least in my and few artsy friends opinion). and that is:

ITEM DESIGNS

Yup, you heard that right. Whether it would be a pocket knife, weird Yo Yo object, gun, vehicle or a whole DARN EPIC MECHA ! *gasp* one of aspect each and every sensible character designer or comic artist must stumble upon must be item designing.

Pople go about it in many ways. In case of semi-realistic or slice-of-life setting the main work would be depiction of existing reality. And... that's also fun. And it does require skill. But when we go into the realm of either Fantasy or Sci-Fi - > only then things get REAL exciting.

With all it's realms those genres are so diverse that talking about them would be a book-worthy long. So least say I really love mixing them. There is a few fields where it would be natural. Steampunk or even Dieselpunk often takes much influence from Fantasy. So no one is weirded out when alternate history German WWII tank/mecha bears a markings inscribed in ancient language which... actually work! Thus magical Dieselpunk (Yay~!). But thing do not end in matter of crossover genres.

In fact from experience I would say that science influenced Fantasy is real fun. What to I mean? Well things You would least expect sometimes. Even in uc series as old (but GR8!) "Rosario x Vampire" we get to know such things as 'Moon-Crushing Dimensional Sword"which is basically a dimensional distortion theory in practice which based on actual scientific M-theory (and interconnected theories) states that any matter might be 'cut' if separated by other dimension in space (sounds weird, but idea was used in many series ever since). And RosaVamp in anime was a romcom... well Manga is MUCH more hardcore.

There are many, many more things fromscience handy to learn on Fantasy item creation though. Such as metallurgy? For me: I always enjoy the physics behind fictional materials and their cabilities based on density, atomic structure etc. And it is there! n games it's omnipresent nowadays. done better or worse. But in Manga we may also stumble upon such things quite often.

How tech affects fanatasy world? This alone deserves another discussion with stories like "Gate" or "Drifters"appearing (recommend both btw )

Same time the genres which include a bit of occult into their sci-fi are not bad either.

What I would like to say: the more you know - the more your imagination expands. Same time you have firm grasp on how things work and can go real crazy without making things meaningles, OP by default or plain straight ... faulty?

Creating items would also require you to adjust to characters and world settings involved. It's not only about balance but also such trivial things as aesthetic sense. Going high fantasy in post apocaliptic Dieselpunk world would be out of place.

After this long intro... well a bit showcase.

Autumn's Battle Gauntlets

13445521_1327011223981174_2881466190268173415_n.jpg?oh=2d3b531b5774cbdba3fdd108f4f0c24c&oe=57CD8DAC

Arleady shown here case of fine "Fantasy x Tech" marriage. The thing was created for certain Indie game creator (and darn good artist in own regard!). His character it was meant for - Autumn - is somewhat a mechanist and tech whizz but same time she neither seem fond of guns or swords once I asked him (she makes guns, not use). same time settings of his game include MUCH Fantasy. So I decided to design something which would include theme of being good 'monster slaying'device while maintaining tech-profile. On a character it looked like this:
Autumn.jpg

Lenneth Jem'Dhar Vind - Void Huntress Gear
lenneth_jem_dhar_vind___weapons_concept_linearts_by_dandare_rastaban-d8nm8zm.jpg

One of my first paid item designs XD !!!

So: Lenneth was original character of one of my best fans and apparently his "LoL" OC. The most viewable theme for her was that she was badass void assassin with high agility, speed and super-human precision. That + fact of using Katars (which are super fun assassin-like weaponry). I decided to go as much along the theme of void as possible, taking from various sources in Fantasy or Mythology theme, same time paying homage to her ambidexterity visible in fighting style. Same time using Katars only seems incomplete so I gave her sidearm in form of slim short sword. End effect on character looked like this:
lenneth_jem_dhar_vind__concept_lineart_by_dandare_rastaban-d8nm6aa.jpg

Kasumi's Demonic War Hammer

kasumi_commission__hammer_design_by_dandare_rastaban-d8zntne.jpg

So as story goes: bit tomboyish, bit unruly and bit sleep depraved but other than that 'normal' girl get's in contact with powerful conscious demonic battle hammer which... just so happens to be overly sarcastic. Story of Kasumi :)

I loved this commission as wearing a track suit, having sleep depraved eyes and sense of humor not anyway less daring than that of Ryuko Matoi - she is a cool match for demonic powers (leave alone hammer, which are savage! Especially once they can bite a face off ^_^ ). In the result:
kasumi___concept_lineart_by_dandare_rastaban-d8znvx4.jpg

So to sum it up: read, learn, discuss! All of that gives birth to amazing ideas and I'll be damned if not more than dozen of times I came up with some once just talking things with friends (not only other artists) or clients.

Item designing is amazing and I also love the whole robot and guns designs idea ... which will be a big part of GitS fanartbook ! I hope least one of 180+ would like to take a look at it once it's ready.... or maybe buy it? Who knows?

For now....

Thanks Seph, I will ^^ ! (and thanks for the thanks XD)

Sorry for no graphic update this time but lately I had a little bit cold (sneezy kind) and felt under-the-weather. Same time I think it would be sooo nice if anyone would wanna talk a bit on character or item desing... or maybe GitS Fanartbook?

I mean: GitS movie is coming and put aside whole controversy around it (honestly I'm worried myself) I think it's least interesting thing. I knew Masamune Shirow works since years ago and I consider that guy quite a prodigy in some ways (and REAL pervert in the others :P).

Taking into account that I did receive greenlight to use my artbook resources at convention once its finished it would make for some legit fun. I currently have 2 new linearts one of which includes a my of design of heavy shoulder-fired weapon (some of which are just simply so badass when it comes to Masamune Shirow XD).

So... yup. Boring text post this time :P

MADNESS!?!
unnamed.jpg

300+ views achieved!

Oh, little happiness. It's smallish number compared to old thread but things are progressing forward, and that is nice :3 . On other good news: Memecenter account is at 399 followers! So 400 is imminent XD

Before I forget I wanna thank:

Art_Wolf - your like did not get unnoticed. For I love likes, they're surefire sign of support XD. Please do chat with us a bit dear admin once you get a free while!

Sephiroth_dude - for being Sephiroth_dude. All the likes are much appreciated and more arts are surely coming !

Sieghardt - for a like and comment! On note of 'monster girls' I would like to inquire on that topic today in fact :3

Not sure if mentioned but I am in (very slow paced) process of making and indie Visual Novel and accompanying it 'guide-like' artbook. Since all takes place in world I schemed up and created: the multitude of things is .... large. To note a few I inquired into:
World setting, world history, existing races, existing beliefs, world economy, technological advancements, codes of morality, social positions hierarchy, governments, myths & legends, special roles/classes and even metallurgy.

Needless to say: there is a lot read, so I amd unsure as to whether post it here. If you guys are interested I can post those texts, along with some arts on them (some not being on net yet ) but it's up to You ;).

The artbook on that however won't probably be ready on January. Due to two reasons mainly:
-I'm making the thing as one-man-team... so workload is harsh.
-I keep on adding new interesting stuff whenever I get good idea, thus increasing workload.
So thing would probably be reasonably bigger than "Ghost in the Shell" fanartbook, meaning that even if by miracle I happen to make it: it is doubtful as to whether I'll have money to fund it's printing.

Te early arts on that are present on my Devart (which I need to update...) but let me post some here!

(PS: Keeping things on safe side - even "standard body models" have some lingerie on XD)

On a happy note once more, let me present bonus of newest GitS fanartbook art of already last female character to appear in it:
Tabitha
Tabithares.jpg
Community manager considered it "Incredible". I could not be more happy with a praise XD

A rather long but consistent character bios are to be found there!

Once again: thanks for any and all support and :

Well.... not much of a talk we're having here :P

I have my hopes high for Elfany Chan (Akumakon Art Director) coming by at some point, alas I know with works on new register forms for Artist Alley in progress she's no less busy than us applicants XD

So a little update on GitS fanartbook. Say hi to:
DISRESPECT
14237544_1394825260533103_4115123097978767910_n.jpg?oh=17d2997d3bc2104e7659be273a932e2e&oe=588027D2

A most disrespectul developer of GitS FPS MMO :D

As I said there will be quite a few male characters for fanartbook, Those will include a: sniper, veteran and chief of Unit 6.

But for all who actually like my female drawings freet not my watchers! For there was an overly interesting paid commission for character in Masamune Shirows GitS universe. Needless to say I will include (by permission) this character in artbook and soon enough her lineart will be presented here. Well I won't spoil much about her for now but it's quite orignal character I would consider rather... neutral (much like original Laughing Man but still in completely different way)

BONUS!

There was also an ongoing new commission from my little sister (as normally paid with 2 tubes of Pringless ;) ) for her (and mine tbh) favourite character from one of oldest games of "FromSoftware" (yup guys who developed 'Souls' series). Say hello to:
YUKI !!!

Hello !

It's me again :)

With GitS fanartbook as lead goal for now I'm putting my best effort to be included into Akumakon Artist Alley. So I thought that it would be cool nod towards committee if I did a fanart of their official mascot character. First impression of their art-director Elfany Chan seems to be very positive! (YAY~!!!). So to share with you guys, here comes...

AKUMI-CHAN !

14397470_1413340248681604_1195556799_n.jpg?oh=6a769482d2099b76e4c265642ed5dfcf&oe=57E3D20F

The artwork will be (I hope) used by committee in any suitable way they find for it as I gave them total permission for that as long I'm mentioned to be an author. On that note Elfany Chan asked me to put a signature and geez been a while since I put my artist signature on.... anything.

Oh, for folks interested about Kanji besides Akumi:
It's a Japanese proverb which reads as: "hara hachibunme ni isha irazu", translates as: " If you only eat until your stomach is 8/10 full, you won’t need a doctor" and basically means: "Eating in moderation is good for your health."

With Akumi being sweet tooth liking things like Japanese Swiss Roll I found it matching in a cute way :) . I'm 120% positive she would get along with most of my OCs on that note as well. After all I also love sweets so nearly all my characters have least one they like now that I think about it XD.

As always: Happy to report!!!

Cheers!!!

Thanks a lot Cherryghost!

sorry for no reply in a looong time but seeing as how activity dropped I kind of neglected the forum myself for a while

Well I come here to announce happy news! For anyone who ever wanted to meet me: I'm returning to Conventions Artist Alleys!

Officially I'll be present at Akumakon on 20th-22nd January and as to what I'll be having there:
eyJ1cmwiOiJodHRwczovL2Rpc2NvcmQuc3RvcmFnZS5nb29nbGVhcGlzLmNvbS9hdHRhY2htZW50cy8xODA4Mzg3MjQzMTYyOTkyNjQvMjY4NDU2Njc5OTIwNjMxODA4L1NBTV8xMDgyLkpQRyJ9.eFo4XNOn_gZNQwBuQozNtXfpFxA?width=1300&height=1000

And many more! Also if anyone wanna have 15min sketch: I'll be doing those. Personally I think they're way to shabby but even years ago still as part of Zenpop lots of people asked for them... on 2nd Nom-con I could buy 2 figurines with 72 EU I've made on 2 Euro sketches alone and I'm way better than back then ;)

So... anyone here going to Akumakon :D?

OH BOY!

I haven't replied here in a while, have I?

I must apologize for that to Sephiroth_dude and cherryghost

Then again it's not lie we have all that much crushing activity in our little M&A section and... yeh, I am pretty busy lately (keeping up the work on artsy stuff like artbook project and paid commissions is hard while maintaining daily 5/8 office job with possible overtime -_-)

About convention: it was grand! Well I've ended up as most probably most unpopular artist and people did not apparently like my take on Akumakon mascot Akumi-chan (maybe besides art director - she liked it or least said so). In fact up to day I've sold more of my A3 posters abroad with additional posting fee than I could sell at convention which.... well makes me a bit sad. But let's say there are more Overwatch fans than Ghost in the Shell ones at this point and my inability to draw furries is also downside (furries proven most popular)

Then again things are going forward. Up till now I've made a lot of progress on artbook (about 40% of what I've planned though) AND next month I start work on ... actually a Xianxia manga comic? I know weird right? But I like a variety.

If anyone wants to see the things I speak of, please comment XD

Surely I would love to see some new positive activity here. Still it's regional forum so telling my tiny fanbase about it would be uncalled for (I'm pretty sure there is no more than a dozen Irish people among 1k accounts following my galleries.... so no good would come from inviting few tens of most active fellow here since they're from all continents I guess - especially Pixiv ones ;))

Once again: thanks for comments guys and cyaa soon!

HI AGAIN!

Well, most of all sincere thanks to Art_Wolf and Sephiroth_dude for like on my last post.

Much going on on my side, though sadly not much of it is art related. Still I've managed to score myself a way more work than I can manage at this point XD (seriously gotta look for assistant soon).

Besides bit less exciting (well not for me, I love'em) commissions still few things are going on. Most notably currently priority have:

-GITS ARTBOOK - still ongoing, and more sketches are piling up. Though they lack ink so no showing off for now... I have complex on my pencil scribbling at this point). What to expect? Well Male characters and 'gear designs' are most soon thing coming it seems. Well if anyone likes my take on idea of 'Power Suit' in case of Gashadokuro or new weapon designs - there will be no disappointment. hopefully a whole solid mini artbook will be done.

-Tales of Demons and Gods doujin - yup trying my hand in Dojin'ing Shounen series. Xianxia as well. While ago I've run with blessing of Mangafox a small contest for original characters for this story with quite cool result. There is much work to be done but soon I'll be able to present some character designs and possibly inner workings on panels. Big leap.

-Magical Witch Saalin - 4koma series - mainly the thing I plan to use on my (currently most active) Memecenter Gallery. Well facing it as biggest and most welcoming gallery in my possession at this point (500+ active watchers and all posts are 40+ likes without feature and 10-15 comments) I thought it would be good nod to ... well at leat give something fun to my fans :). Once enough stories get gathered I'll make it into mini-comic book and with that in mind in fact 'cover arts' were made and posted:
7d0bc629fdb9730eddbc28de25beb7941492094700_full.png9016e6ea6fa1d12d90b8cbcf0f9db5651492094697_full.png

The series would pretty random and mostly gag-based. For now scenarios for 4 strips were done but panels for only 2 (including pilot which... funnily enough is NOT 4koma format - various reasons :P )

Ok, that's it for now! I hope You're all doing fine folks and I'll be able to present something more fun soon :D
