Hi,

Im sure this has been asked 100's of times but I cant find an answer.

I know I'm getting a little ahead of my self but my daughter is starting schools this September.
I really didnt like Irish when i was in School and I'm now wanting to learn enough to help my little girl learn it a bit better then me.

Does anyony know of any online sites or books i can get to help me get someway back into knowing Irish again.

Get your hands on the "glance card for Irish verbs". It's an A3 sized card with the most commonly used verbs in the past, present and future tenses (and with the verbal noun and verbal adjectives). One side of the card also has the most common questions (who/when/where/what time? etc) and the other side has the personal pronouns (orm, ort, air, uirthi, etc). Most bookshops will have it in stock for the back-to-school season but some shops have it all year round. Shouldn't cost any more than €5.

Watch the cartoons and children's programmes on TG4 with her. You will be surprised how much both of you pick up.
