Anyone know of a supplier of secondhand automatic scrapers in the Munster area. Just don't think I could justify spending the money on new ones

I'd say any dealers selling secondhand scrapers will charge well for them. Only hope is to buy off a farmer selling secondhand. You might also have yo travel for them. Here's scrapers on done deal up north.

Only dear day one. Have them here since 02 and would never be without them again. One control unit and two scrapers doing two 45' passages cost 2200 back then. How much are they now?

I paid almost £3k back in 98 for one control unit for two passages 50' and 75', looks like you got a good deal.

They are unbranded scrapers that the local dairy technician was selling at the time. They are holding up very well but they could break your heart at times. I've seen scrapers that rotted away to nothing that were put in around the same time.

    Thanks

You would probably be better off buying a new track as they do wear down.
