I wouldnt be swayed by the price. The spec is awful. Would be like watching paint dry waiting for it to do anything. Get a Nexus 7 2013 for €135 and you'll never look back.

They're not great quality. Two of them (owned by relatives) keep losing access to the SD card - you have to eject and insert again for it to be picked up.

One of them has a dodgy power connector too (it won't charge unless you add pressure from one side).

I have a few of the 8" version - perfect for the younger kids who only want to watch YouTube and play basic games on it. Plus you're not going to have a seizure if they drop it.

Endorsed. Santa got a great price pre-christmas and our little one loves it.

Jaysus, have a look in Soundstore - €69.99 for an android tab with 512mb ram!! now THAT'S a slow tablet!

This Lenovo is a beast in comparison.

Amazon fire tablet seems to have similar specs so might be worth considering

    Hi folks,

Was looking for a budget tablet and spotted this in Argos for €69.99

    http://www.argos.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10152&catalogId=14551&langId=111&productId=859512

I think I saw the same tablet in Tesco for €99.

Anyone any experience of Lenovo tablets, or recommend an alternative around the same price?

    Cheers

    JP
    Hi
I bought this tablet last October and I have to say I found it a great tablet. I mainly used it for Netflix and YouTube etc and for reading books and found the battery brilliant on it. Never had an issue with the sd card either. Hope that helps

    I'd recommend the Amazon Fire

Yeah it is usable as a cheap tablet for young children, but the power connector problem happened to me as well and seems to be very common.
