Are you going to fit it yourself?

About ebay. I have used ebay for lots of things and usually it's fine. Just make sure to use a seller with lots of good feedback and lots of sales of the same product you are looking for.

That seller is www.partsemporiumltd.co.uk which seems to be a UK breakers.

Cant comment whether the one you've linked will work but also consider that there might be a need for re-coding of the replacement module.

Thanks guys. Not intending on putting it in myself, Ive a mechanic who already warned that the module may need to be recoded and that could be a pain.

Why do you need a new module ?

You will need to scan the car and get the part number of the current module, then either search for one with that part number or do a bit of googling and find out what other part numbers will fit.

Be very careful that you buy the exact same model number, hardware revision and software revision. If any of these are changed, you might not even be able to code it, which could be a job in itself. There's no reason it shouldn't be fine if all goes well, but with things like airbags, I'd be going nowhere but the main dealer - expensive as it may be.
