Hi all. Just a quick question about Bali. Is it mostly loved up couples that holiday here? Or would you find singledoms travelling on their own also here? Last thing I want when on holidays is to be surrounded by couples :(

Depends on where you go.Nusa Dua is known as the "Golden Ghetto" as it is mainly high end hotels popular with couples. Kuta has lots of back packers etc.

Kuta is a bit of a kip imo,a rake of local chancers knocking about scheming hard and aussies being stereotypical bogands very harsh...I know. but ubud is class. Rent a place out of town in the sticks rent a bike mill about aimlessly, pure bliss vibe passing through paddy fields and pure tropical vibes.. north of island is great also national park I can't recall the name has an amazing under water wall if your into diving or snorkeling...an essential trip in bali is actually another island-java for at least a night..mount ijen just off the ferry from bali an incredible experience a volcano not to be missed.. enjoy

Ubud and the Gili islands are laid back and seemed to be full of singles. Gili islands are probably your best for late nights. Ubud has a few bars but I didn't see any proper nightlife. I was there with the girlfriend. We didn't go to Kuta, we drove by the place. Looked like Ibiza.

Bali is a long way to go for a singles holiday!
