Question about Internship

    I would just like someone's advice on this. Is it a good idea to ask before an interview is an internship paid or unpaid? This is something I'm considering asking, but I often hear that you should never ask questions about payments before your interview. The reason why I'm asking before the interview is because I'll be travelling from Cork to Dublin for the interview and don't want to be even making a journey like that if the internship turns out to be unpaid?
