Omega Seamaster - self winder not working.

I was wearing my watch last summer on holiday in the Canaries, while swimming/bodysurfing in the sea. I was hit by a very large wave, unfortunately I was right under it when it broke, with my feet off the ground, and it drove me headfirst towards the seabed. I put out my left arm to hold myself off the seabed and managed to protect my neck, but it fractured my arm at the shoulder, my watch was on the wrist of this arm.

I didn't wear the watch for a few weeks, then I started wearing it again. It kept stopping, initially I put this down to the restricted movements of that arm not activating the self-winding mechanism. However it has continued and now I need to wind it every 2/3 days if it is not to stop. The winding mechanism is not comfortable - I have developed calluses on the tip of my finger/thumb.

I am assuming that the impact from that wave is what broke the mechanism, it was working fine until that had happened.

The point of the post is really to query how much it is likely to cost to have this fixed? Is Weirs on Grafton street the best place to bring it?
