Hi. I am looking to buy a 2008 to 2011 navara and am wondering if there are any common problems to look out for when checking possible jeeps ?

That issue with the engine bearings was resolved by then. Be weary of the ones up to 2005ish.

The D40 (2005+) had alot of timing chain issues causing engine failures. The most prominant problem with the navara is the chassis snapping with corrosion/rust. Nissan are acknowledging this in ireland and uk by inspecting the chassis and offering a new chassis or buying the navara from you. Youll find alot of help and info on nissan-navara.net and the navara snapped chassis group on facebook. I had a 2008 navara for a while and although nothing went wrong with it in my ownership i felt i could never trust it
