Do they have any information anywhere about their aircraft, i know i'm not expecting bells and whistles, but knowing details of the craft you're going to spend 7-8 hours on would be nice! :)

Checked a load of random week trips in Nov - Feb, not once over €400 for return flights! That's insane

    INSANIA

Also worth noting it costs €110 to check a bag - making it all very sane really.

Don't forget to book bags in that adds 110euro. Do they do free food and drink on the flights ? If it add more money.
Can you pre clear customs? That can save a few hours, how long extra are the flights including lay over ?

I think I'd rather pay a few euro more and fly direct especially if I'm going for a short time

    Also no inflight entertainment

Seems like a rip off just to go to the UK, no? :D

    No pre-clearance for indirect flights.

Details always help when posting on forums, especially when your talking about a diffetent airline than the original post

But you could stop in Reky, Rekjay...Iceland... and have a few days there before going to New York. Iceland in Winter! OOh!

With the added price of bags (110), indirect flight, no entertainment, is there food? etc it doesn't work out any better realistically, unless you are moving to new york with no bags. :D

Stop over in Iceland is 1hr 20 mins, not a massive amount of time but checked in bags will wipe any savings on this.

Its a great price but how could anyone go to New York with only 5kg carry on??!

You could go with a backpack/rucksack for a 4 or 5 day stay, do some Christmas shopping, and check in a bag on the way back.
Although I've no idea how that may work out, but it would be a cheaper flight over and give you an extra €110 to spend on clothes over there :D

You'd probably bag Delta or EI for not far off these fares, both with a free bag and US pre-clearance as part of the deal.

Then you got to spend 55 on a check in bag in the way back, and with no checkin bag on the way over you'll be flagged by customs in Ireland and even more worrying customs in America

"Full flight or no flight" is all I'm getting on their website...I'm on mobile and their site is utterly unusable on mobile.
