Gordon Elliott day

Gordon Elliott sends 7 to Perth today. The first one John Monash i think is a slow animal and needs 2mile 4 at least to be seen at his best(although i know he's won over 2 previously) and will be avoiding him.
The other 6 however i think have all got squeaks and have had a little bit on an e/w lucky 63.

    Western home 2.40:
First time in a handicap having done his apprenticeship in Ireland and will have top weight against moderate animals, expect him to go close.

    Blake Dean 3.10:
Moderate animal but been found a moderate race now back below his last winning mark and has 1st time blinkers applied, disappointed if Gordon hasn't lined this up as this horses race to win this year.

    Russian Regent 3.40:
Getting on in years but showed last time he still holds some spark when finishing 3rd at Downpatrick having travelled the best before making a bad mistake at the 2nd last fence. Big ask to win of a career high mark at the age of 12 but i don't think it's impossible and give him every chance of placing.

    Brand Ambassador 4.10:
Won a handicap hurdle in Gowran off 113 in 2014 before a spell on the sidelines up until March this year and has been out of his depth in decent handicap hurdles since and had a spin over fences on his most recent run, has cheekpieces added here and in a weak race runs off top weight, i will be disappointed if he doesn't at least place.

    Son of my heart 4.40

Not one i know much about but recently joined Gordon and i find it interesting he runs him in his first handicap chase ever despite the horse looking to be better treated over hurdles. Be good to see if money arrives for him,if it does i'd expect him to win by a fence, kind of animal Gordon could find 2 stone with.

    Padre Tito 5.10

Was close to leaving him on the sidelines along with John Monash as a 7lb hike for finishing second seems harsh but the money for him at the off that day suggested to me they fancied their chances and could have more to come.

Johnson's booked for them all so none of them will only be out for a run and i'd be disappointed if 2 or 3 don't win and 6 would be great :p Think it was around this time last year Elliott had a 4 or 5 timer at Perth so hopefully he improves again.

I think Brand Ambassador and Blake Dean would be the 2 i'd be real disappointed with if they don't go very close as they look like they've been found ideal openings and have had an e/w double on them by themselves too and if money comes for Stone of my heart i'll go in on him again.

Watch now as the only one to run any sort of race is John Monash who wins by a hurdle having shown tonnes of speed

my worry is that there's 8 or 9 other Irish horses gone over, and he could get beat by one of those that is even further ahead of the handicapper.

Absolutely every chance just hope if they do i can get the place. That Dr Moloney has plenty of ability to win off his mark if ever putting it in.

Phew. Was thinking John Monash was going to win there for a second.

That Watson trainer has Finea entered too i think,he's one to follow ove r the next year or 2, very good at placing horses to pick up prizemoney even if they're not winning.

Money made but could've been so much better. Anyone else think Johnson could've got going on Son of my heart a bit earlier and got a place?

What would the pay out have been?

I don't want to state the amount but the placed accum was well over 100/1 by my quick calc

Be good to see which few he runs today. I see John Monash has an entry in a handicap hurdle over 2mile 4. Interesting if he goes. He's the only one i've checked so far.

Got a call about Violoniste in the 3:10 at Perth just there. Fella I know has a share in See Double You who is with the same trainer, they all think this fella is a penalty kick. Best price 7/4 now.

Is the trainer the same Ronan Mc Nally that used to work/ride for Gordon? If so it'd be very interesting that Gordon hasn't one entered in this as he's plenty the race would suit.

He got a shocking ride from England last time and still won.

No idea, just know one of the connections. Load of them from Armagh, used to go drinking in a pub called Red Neds (hence the Red Neds Racing Club).

2:10 looks an interesting race. Knocklayde Sno Cat should have won last time out, but was beaten by a cracker of a ride with Johnson on board. Same claimer has the ride today, personally I would have had someone else. Let's see what happens.

Mad, exact same thing happened today.

In fairness to the young lad Faraway Mountain had plenty in the tank he was just trying to dog it as best he could until he got a bit of company.

Cheers Francie. Had him in an accy from last night (have 2 up on it with the Flying Portrait and Always Tipsy still to run) but stuck a decent single on him after seeing your post.

No word this time, but there's no reason why this shouldn't win again tomorrow at the last at Uttoxeter. Similar class of race as last time, the 7lb penalty is mitigated by a claimer onboard tomorrow.

We've a share in one of the horses mentioned in the OP (we were actually over there for the day). He's entered again there on Sunday in both a chase & hurdle, both races almost a mile further than his previous 2 trips over there. We have him figured out now so a bit of a trip, smallish field & the better the ground I wouldn't write him off getting his head in front after 2 placed efforts there.

It was Francie. Young Irish apprentice getting his first ride and win in the UK too on him I think. Nice animal, interesting to see where he'll go next.

He runs in the 2.30 Perth on Sunday, we'll be very disappointed if he isn't involved at the finish!

Cheers for posting this but your totally wrong with the race it's the 4.00 at Musselburgh, I know people are going to think i shouldn't be complaining but this has happened a few times when people are posting tips and it's extremely annoying having to trace the horse down on a website.

Lads, something weird happened, I have no idea how I got onto this thread if it's 8 months old.
He must of posted something in here first about that horse for tomorrow and deleted it or something.
I'm so confused how I ended up here

As far as I was aware I replied to his message in the rossom thread.
    But somehow ended up here.
