Painting a chair

I have an old chair I want to paint- I have paint left over from a feature wall, and I'd like to match them (I also don't want to waste the paint, and chalk paint is expensive). If I use bin primer first, can I paint the wooden chair with ordinary Matt emulsion? And what should I protect it with after? I don't want to use wax, I find it doesn't hold. I'd rather a good varnish.

Yes you can use Matt emulsion after you've primed using BIN. You can use Satin varnish when you're finished painting and it's dry.

    Thanks, that's what I thought
