talking money

do you talk money a lot? for example... telling everyone what you bought, where you bought it and how much you paid for it and asking people of the same , asking people how much they earn and happily answering questions on your own amount of income, constantly reminding people how much they owe you. ranting on how much you pay in bills and taxes, or how skint or minted you are, how much or how little you currently have in your account.

I don't myself usually, but I have been guilty of being a bit too vocal about how much I paid for this, that and the other, I've gradually stopped as I found it a bit tacky. the rest of the stuff I listed I just don't mention at all, as its equally tacky when done too often. if someone asks me how much I paid for whatever and where I bought it I just say I cant remember or it wasn't much. whereas I used to just pipe up '' penneys, 5 euro''

I dislike a money oriented mindset. where theres a price on everything and a value on nothing.

No. Couldn't give a sh1t what my friends earn quite frankly. This is actually a topic that rarely comes up for us. None of us are that well off either so I'm sure we all have issues at times. There just seems to be better things to discuss when we are together.

A few days before payday there's nothing else to talk about other than how I might starve to death over the coming hours.

I got paid yesterday though so I'm rich I tells ya. RICH.

When I had money I never talked about it, obviously if I was looking at a new car I would ask people's opinions but I wouldn't have stuck pictures up on Facebook of me rolling around naked on a bed of money, noone wants to see that.
