Volvo S80 leaking oil and good indie garage?

    Hi all

    My daughters partner's 2004 S80 is leaking oil and from what we can see it seems to be coming from the Crankshaft seal or there abouts

    We have already replaced the PCV system as it was blocked and this made no change.

    what i need to know is

    1. How expensive is it to get this seal replaced

    2. can anyone recommend an good Volvo Indie to carry out this work .

    I don't know anyone oin Kildare but if you can make it into Dublin city there is/used to be a place called Independent Volvo Specialists on Erne Street

    Another place in Clontarf, Scully autocare, may still have a Volvo master tech working for them.

    Scullys are closed down.
    I think IVS are gone aswell.The Volvo specialist that worked in Scullys has opened up on his own now as a Volvo specialist.
