Nct no vehicle registration form

    I know this has Probably been asked before but the only threads I could find were a few years old.... Can I still do my nct with no vehicle registration form? Have it in the morning and can't find it

    You'll probably be fine, just bring some identification and a printout of the appointment if you have one, just so you won't be empty-handed.

    I've never had them check the reg cert.

    It would be a good idea to get a replacement reg cert though, they're only about €12. You can print out an rf134 form off the internet, get it stamped by the Gardai and bring it to the tax office, they'll post it out soon after.
    You never know when you'd need it, if you need replacement key, if the car is in an accident etc.

    If they look for it, it will be tested, you won't be issued with the cert until you produce the VRC.

    takes about 7/10 days, think its €12, had to get a replacement myself at NCT time as lost previous one.. Lads just held the NCT cert till I had the replacement.

    I've never been asked for it. Panicked one time as I'd left it at home, but they've only ever asked me for licence to confirm identity.
