can someone explain to me how and is it possible to organize channels on Sky box with no card, in my OWN order

I want to omit coded channels and put everything else together in some groups.

    thank you

I don't own a Sky box but I believe you can setup a favourites list of the channels you want but the channels in the epg cannot be reordered.

A easier option would be a Freesat receiver for the free satellite channels with a Sky-like user interface.

This Manhattan Plaza Freesat HD receiver is the cheapest around, on special offer at €65 in Powercity - http://www.powercity.ie/?par=10-24-340183

You cannot, the sky box locks the channels to the number they are on, you cannot move them, u can set up a favourite of your top 50 channels but this is still not great, better off with either a fta box that will allow you arrange them any way you wish however this lacks a decent tv guide and will only show you whats on now and next.

Or as already suggested get a freesat box which like sky locks the channels in a specific order but which does come with a 7 day guide .

To save time just accept that SKY boxes are as locked down as possible.

    *hugs freesat box*

You could set up favourites at the first good channel after ones you want to skip. So to scan through channels it's up up up up up blue up up blue....

The only way you can put channels in any personalised order is to go through the services button and select favourite channels. If you are using a sd Box without a sub card, BBC1 will come in on 101, on a HD box BBC 1 will be up around 141 on an Irish sky box, or you can buy a UK card on adverts, for a few euro, which will put BBC etc from 101.
