Hi there, wonder would a thread be useful? I have realised that the only bloody thing I care about before all bells and whistles discussion is not desperately looking for a charger every 5 min. So I did a little research and bought at Ulephone Power. [6000mah].

So very happy, feels like phones were a few years ago. The real usage is x2 days heavy with everything on and 3 max with light usage. I saw another option of a 10000 mah phone on Amazon but guessed it might be too heavy. The Ulephone is on 5.1 android, so once there is a 6 update hopefully the doze function can help even more. Delighted to get rid of my S4!

The Zuk Z1 will get you two days of moderate to heavy use quite easily also. This is with a caveat though in that there are numerous bugs with the cyanogen OS. There are also issues with 3G and wifi turning off from time to time (! Mark beside bars)

Great phone otherwise but I think I might offload it and get the Oneplua two or three instead if I could get a day and a bit out of the battery.

I had an Oukitel phone before and it felt so CHEAP!!
Case cracked within the first week....and I'm not very rough with my phones...

Now, this phone might be fantastic, but I don't have a whole lot of faith.
One of the big things is that the software should be optimised to use the battery well.

I currently have an LG G3....fantastic phone but the battery life is killing me!

Looking at the Samsung A9 Pro, 5000mah batery, reputible company that makes decent phones....coming out in September I'm sure, might be well worth looking at for power users.
I know people say that you can use Zerolemon batteries......they turn the phone to much into a brick. I don't mind a large phone, but I also have small hands, so if I have a big screen, it can't be too crazily thick.

What are the thoughts on the Ulephone power? I was looking at that only last night and it looks great :)

Ulephone Power is excellent - the main point people complain about is camera. I couldn't care less... it's not bad at all... the level that all these cameras are at now is incredible. Cam on S4 was better but this can change with upgrade... Still waiting for 5.1 -6 update but they have a manual way of doing it if u want.

Battery excellent but not to be over-rated. We all actually need 6000mah now miniumum, it just depends on when people realize it. So X2 days heavy usage... x3 light. All the rest on the web is bull****, all the youtube vids, about any phone like this lasting 10 days etc.

Phone is superb, can't believe the specs etc. for instance the camera is sony and battery I think. Fingerprint scanner, 3G ram. etc No lag... no issues.

I completely agree with this! I'm not much of a gamer, so a decent chip does most of the things I like. Phones will never replace proper cameras, so its only for quick photos for facebook, so who needs an insanely good camera?
Battery life is the biggest spec right now, until things like new forms of charging come in.

    * Oppo have come up with a charging tech that will come out in the near future that claims to charge a 3000mah battery from 0 to 100 percent in 15 mins *

I might pick one up for review if I can find a good deal on it :)

Where did you buy the Ulephone Power? Does it come from China or Hong Kong with risk of being stopped at customs?

3000 mah battery in this day and age is poor, I wouldn't consider buying another phone less than 5000mah.
