    Hi guys.

Just looking for some holiday ideas for a young couple (early 20's). We're looking for somewhere with a decent nightlife but also good weather & plenty of activities to do (Watersports, off road buggying, rock climbing etc..).

We went to Tenerife a few years back and are looking for something similar. So if anyone has any reccomendations i'd really appreciate it ☺

Oh yeah we'd be going in September.

Thailand. More expensive than a typical sun holiday but so, so worth it

Definitely recommend somewhere in Asia such as Thailand you'll find all the activities you want along with great weather. Asia is also good value and popular with young people so there's usually good night life too.

Bali is a fairly long way to go when you have a lot more interesting spots in South-East Asia ahead of it.

What's their rules around drinking and women exposing flesh in public?

Dubai has become VERY westernised in recent years.
It differs slightly in that alcohol is only served in hotel property, but the thing about that is half of Dubai is hotel property!! So rather than having a traditional "strip" that you would see in a Spanish resort, you head to the hotels (every 2nd building) and resorts to their beach bars, pool clubs, roof top bars etc. Plenty of regular pubs in the hotels too such as McGettingan's.
Friday brunch is also a big feature of the Dubai scene. All of the big hotels put an a "brunch" and it's anything but eating! You usually pay about €100 and head to somewhere like the Atlantis for the day where it's unlimited alcohol and food till about 4/5pm when they then ship you round to the nightclub.
Yes you need to be smart and not fall around the place puking on your way home though!
One of my favourite nights in Dubai was a concert on Nasimi beach at night time - full bar serving alcohol at it.
Regarding dress sense, again, be smart.
On the beach, in your hotel/resort beach/pool you can wear your normal beachwear - wouldn't recommend topless however!
Going to the malls and things you should technically cover shoulers and knees. For me that's just sticking a pair of three-quarter length leggings on under my dress or throwing a wrap around my shoulders. The malls are so cold with their air conditioning anyway that you kinda need it! But in saying that, I really found on my last trip in April that it's not being adhered to or noticed anymore.
Again, be smart, you're fine in the newer part of Dubai but if you plan on visiting "old" Dubai with it's souks and markets then cover up.

How about something like this : http://giddygallyadventures.ie/spanish-rock-climbing-courses/ and add a few days in Malaga or down further on the Costa?
