Laptop for College

    I am looking into buying a laptop suitable for an undergraduate maths degree, as well as general home use. Any recommendations and/or advice much appreciated.

    Budget:Max 500 euro

    Intended use: Bringing into college, excel use, general web browsing, watching youtube videos. No gaming capacity needed.

    Mobility: Must be able to carry in/out of college daily, so not too heavy if possible.

    Warranty: Not sure about this, what is generally expected/recommended?

    What Operating System do you use? Windows would be preferable.

    Thanks in advance for any suggestions. I would be especially grateful if anyone would know what size memory would be needed for my above needs.
