At what stage do you put in the code?

Do you need to be logged in as a member of their loyalty program?

Don't need to be logged on. Just before you hit Search Flights, to the left there is a promo code box

Thanks, worth noting that the 25% is off the fare price but not the taxes. Still save a bit though.

Business class is worth every penny

Just make sure you check the conditions of the fares as the cheapest fares have severe restrictions about cancellation and changes and the discount is only available on the restricted fares not the freedom fare.

€3200 for 4 of us. My Mam is just 80 so she is going Bus class with my brother.
The original price was €7200. We have been checking over the last 6 weeks

The discounted fare in Business usually does not have car service.

Business class on Emirates and Etihad are top notch and worth every penny especially on these long haul flights. Enjoy your trip

Doesn't seem to apply to every destination, tried Dub - Auckland and couldn't get it to apply but it worked ok for Sydney. Also worth noting the discount only applies when the journey originates in Ireland so not much use for those visiting home :( Thanks though OP

Likewise, tried DUB-NRT (Tokyo) in late January and wasn't giving me any options.

On long haul, absolutely. Stress free all the way.

Did it once on Emirates and ended up in First Class. Now, as an upgrade that was grand, but it is not worth whatever they charge for it. Only real difference from Business was what seemed to be a personal chef (or so they said) and a member of cabin crew dealing only with me.

Business class ftw, especially if you get a chauffeur, your holiday begins at your front door.

I only go Business if its on someone elses dime, as for myself, pop a few pills and its Dreamy Sleepy Nighty Snoozy Snooze all the ways over to Asia or wherever. I don't fly any of the ME3 anymore and I prefer to go ULH direct out of Europe on an EU carrier avoiding the stop in the MidEast, this also gives far better consumer protection on an EU airline. Singapore, KL or Hong Kong are much more civilised airports than Dubai or Abu Dhabi which are chaotic and over crowded.

Good offer though and I'm searching flights now as if the price is right I might be tempted again with Etihad.

What type aircraft is Etihad using Dublin to Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi to Brisbane?

Think it is usually the A330 200 to Abudabi and the 787 to Brisbane but seatguru should tell you for sure.

Both Etihad and Emirates fly Boeing 777's from Europe back to base. Then it's 787 dreamliners towards Oz and New Zealand

Emirates have a large fleet of A380's on long haul, Etihad also fly A380 to Australia but currently to Sydney and Melbourne. I had the pleasure flying it in first to Sydney on Eitihad.

    I've done Abu Dhabi/Dubai - Asia/Oz 4 times and have always been on 777's and 787's
Saying that, back in 2012 we were the very first flying MH2 on a brand spanking A380

Etihad only got its first A380 end 2014. Emirates have the biggest fleet of them now and very likely to fly one now with over 70 of them, their hard first product is a bit tacky the soft product is very good.
