    Hi all
have a few dry hoggetts for breeders sales coming up. Just wondering what nut or mix would I give them. I don't want to over do them just something to put a shine on them.
    Energy or protein nut??

If you had good grass, I don't see why you would want to do this? Would you not just be eating into your profits?

If you felt they were missing something, you could give em a mineral drech or something?

Its very possible I am missing something tho, I don't sell hog, so totally stand to be corrected here... ;)

I always feed before going to mart with cattle or sheep. I think it does help them
My profit may be down but I think they look better fo r it. Wrong or right I don't know!!

Like I say, I dont sell hog, or go to the mart, so I dont know really.. You could well be right...

Anytime I feed lambs, I use Southern Milling lamb fattening but - thinks its good enough.

We have issues with Colbalt too, so always make sure they have a dose of that, as it kinda comes through a bit in the wool.

    Best of luck with em...
