The bumper on my car got a bump. Its not cracked or damaged aside from a few scrapes and paint that came off but even that is fairly small.

Can this be touched up or do bumpers need a replacement if they get any mark?

If it can be touched up, anyone recommend a good company to do the work?

You have posted in Motors DIY, do you want to give it a go yourself?

A couple pictures would help to start.

Perhaps i picked the wrong forum. Mods, dont hesitate to move this thread if its better suited elsewhere.

Cant attempt it myself, I live in an apartment with no shed or storage area should i buy the requesite tools & nowhere to carry out the work. That and i wouldnt trust myself to do it.

Getting a quote of 160 to get it done via one of the first links on google which initially seems is a little steep to me, considering its a fairly small scrape but maybe i need adjust my thoughts on how much it will cost.

Moved from DIY to main forum.
If you want recommendations you need to provide your location.

Start by cleaning the scrape using either wd40 or soapy water. It might not be as bad as it looks now.
Be gentle, you don't want to rub debris into the paint.

I'd say €160 is probably on the mark for a "smart" repair. I'd a mate with similar damage ie small scratch's on rear bumper and he was getting quoted up to €250 for a smart repair from some of the mobile guy's.

Your only cheap option after cleaning is to use a touch up pen on it

    My advice... Ignore It.

It will hurt less when you make another one
