Hello everyone, im 20 yrs old, DA got cut.I'm totally and utterly penniless (literally not a cent)starving and in a very bad situation health wise with blood clots among other lengthy health issues, no medical card or any form of health insurance or any medication to control my problems. Will be homeless at the end of the month cannot afford rent, cannot get rent allowance. No friends or family to ask for help or rely on absolutely none. I've already asked SVDP for help in the past after i lost my job after becoming ill they've helped me so much and they said they can't keep doing it ive already asked twice recently and too many to count before that. I'm on internet only because my landlord has a Wi-Fi box out here. I haven't eaten i am thirsty unwell and have no where to turn or anywhere to go :( ... please someone can you give me advice thank you so much

Why has your DA been cut? As someone on that type of payment you should automatically be entitled to a medical card? Did you apply for one?

As to the situation you find yourself in, the only advice I can offer really is maybe go to see your local CW officer tomorrow, explain the situation, you might be entitled to a supplementary payment until your DA is sorted. That way at least you can buy food and get yourself sorted.

Chin up things may look bleak now but they will get better!

<Mod snip forum bannable so be careful> if you need someone to listen I have found the Samaritan phone line excellent.

All the best and mind yourself

OP you can go to your local council to apply for emergency accommodation.

Also your community welfare officer can provide you with money to supplement what you have now. Explain your situation, bring bank statements and proof of how little you have.

There's always light at the end of the tunnel for those willing to keep going. You'll be OK, keep your chin up.
