How's it going I'm thinking of buying a single phase cnc lathe for doing small batches of parts at home.has anyone got one of these and what is like ? where can u buy them? thanks in advance

Check out Model Engineers Workshop magazine or their website , you will find loads of practicle advice and ads there. The magazine will be availabe in Easons etc. You may come across some ex school Boxford units for sale but make sure it comes with the PC controller as it will not run without it unless you plan on retrofitting it to run with Mach 3 etc .
