Id say it,ll be a good while before it opens. Still be lowish footfall with all the new buildings and the days of the little corner shop that gets a few people in a day ar long gone, although on a bit more positive side the 2 creche buildings now. Have have occupants in them. I thought it,d be a long time before the one on the red arches side was opened what ever about the one on the grange road side

OP here. I saw a few people in the premises during the week, so maybe something could be opening, but it may also be someone converting it to an apartment

Planning permission application went up on the window yesterday. Plan to turn the unit into a cafe.

    Finally something. 10 years later.

I can only think of 2. The racecourse Inn, and this one.

Baldoyle needs stuff. It's a very empty town. There's not even a restraint.

Work started this week. They had a couple of contractors revamping the interior.

Hopefully not too long until it opens.

Interesting that all 3 units in The Coast have now opened.

The unit in Red Arches is a Hair Salon, and the two units in Myrtle are a barber shop and a cafe. It's nice to see some life in the area.

The houses between red arches & the dart station are going up at a fair old pace. They had a good amount of work done before covid19 close down. Also the new greenway is a great addition to the area and very popular

They're not building a lot of houses by the looks of it, although the plans are a different story. If they don't go on sale until next summer, I might try and buy one.

The greenway ruined what was a beautiful area.

its a 2 x2m strip of tarmac, not exactly an eye sore or interfering with the environment in anyway as its for cyclists.

You can barely even notice that its there unless you're right beside it
